PROJECT139 IS DEDICATED TO BRINGING AWARENESS AND EDUCATION IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE VARIOUS ISSUES OF ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, BY EQUIPPING THEM WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S LOVE AND PURPOSE FOR THEIR LIFE.

"fearfully + wonderfully
created on purpose for a purpose"
As a child, tween and teenager, what was your greatest desires?
to be seen, loved and heard
Today it remains the same.
We still desire these 3 things, and so do our youth.
This current generation craves the exact same thing we did some 20+ years ago.
Nothing has changed regarding what matters most to them . . . except for the landscape around them.

This starts with us.
If we are gonna help the next generation we need to understand their world.
Raising kids in a digital world is hard enough, but growing up in it is even harder.

Shining a light
No.1
AWARENESS
of the issues youth face today is step number one.
We can not say or think "not my kid" when addressing cyberbullying, pornography, sextortion, child sex trafficking and mental health issues such as suicidal ideation. It's not a matter of "if" but "when".

No.2
EDUCATION
When you become aware of the issues, learn how to recognize the signs and what you can do

No.3
EQUIP
We can not shield our kids. Living sheltered lives won't help them navigate the world. But equipping them with knowledge
will help them to make good decisions when faced with difficult situations.

created on purpose for a purpose
if we are not grounded in the knowledge of God's love and purpose for our lives,
then we are susceptible to the lies the enemy feeds us.

Giving Back
One of the ways we can help, is by giving back to those organizations who are actively working to end human trafficking. Each time you purchase from my store, I donate a portion of the profit to The Prevention Project™ a nationally recognized curriculum created to educate preteens and teens about human trafficking, and
the Stop Human Trafficking Coalition of Central Missouri,
my local anti trafficking nonprofit organization,
Together we can make a difference.

Quote from Gail Dine's TedX "Growing Up in a Pornified Culture"

So here is where we get personal . . . and maybe a little uncomfortable.
This is when we as parents have to understand and ackowledge what is
actually taking place in our culture, the false narratives we are being fed,
why it's harmful to us and our children and ultimately what God says about it.
